BETHEL EXPLORERS FUN AND FOOD CLUB

We are excited to let you know about a FREE Summer Holiday Club at Bethel Baptist Church in West Street, Fishguard. It will be held from Monday 12th August to Friday 16th, between 10 am and 12.30 pm for children aged 5-11.

Stories, games, songs, and crafts will keep the children occupied, and we will also provide lunch. All our volunteers are DBS checked, and the church has the relevant insurance.

If your child would like to attend, could you please fill out the attached form so that we can get an idea of numbers, food preferences, etc., and then return the form to school by Friday, 2nd August 2024?  If you would like to speak to me directly, please get in touch with me on 07584 027958 or email me at neil_a_warburton@hotmail.com

We look forward to meeting you soon.

Congratulations
Jack in Class 5 raised nearly £40 for school funds at the Raft Race last weekend. He made his own posters and encouraged onlookers to have a go at his roll the penny & guess the number of lollies in the jar games. Diolch yn fawr iawn Jack!

Summer Reading Challenge

We invite you to take up the Summer Reading Challenge. It’s the UK’s biggest reading for pleasure programme for children aged 4-11, delivered via public libraries. Children can sign up for free at their local library or via https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/

Headlice - There are cases of head lice in school. We ask for your support in checking your children on a weekly basis so that any head lice can be dealt with quickly and before they can be allowed to spread. Treatment is available for free from the Chemist.

Reports
Pupil reports will be going home today. Full reports were sent home earlier this year - this report is a short summary report. Welsh National Test results for Years 2 to 6 will be included with your child's report.
