A cross-regional resource for schools, which offers Professional Learning support for the learning and teaching of Welsh, and through the medium of Welsh.
The 5 consortia / regions share and work together, to develop support for the Welsh language in education to:
Support the vision of a million Welsh speakers by 2050 (Cymraeg 2050)
Support the strategic development of the Welsh language in partnership with schools and the Local Authorities' Welsh in Education Strategic Plans.
Support the realisation of the Curriculum for Wales’s purposes. The Welsh language is one of the mandated elements that spans the continuum of learning for 3 – 16 years old.
Support and promote the development of the Welsh language skills of the education workforce in contributing to the realisation of the aims of the Welsh in Education Workforce Plan.
Identify areas for joint working, joint development, and joint commissioning.
Over the next period, we will work together cross-regionally to develop the content of this website

Support for leaders, governors and improvement partners to support schools on their journey to develop the Welsh language and deepen understanding of:
Leadership: Curriculum and well-being - strategic vision, attitudes and relationships
Leadership: Staffing and resources: strategic planning for the Professional Learning of the workforce
Curriculum and pedagogy: establishing vision, planning and provision
Learning and Teaching: Pedagogy - evaluating provision and planning for improvement
Support staff to assess against the Language competencies framework

Using SWAC data in order to plan the development of the workforce
Understand the professional learning offer from various partners
Effective use of resources
Moving a school along the continuum
