Organ Trail Project

Pathophysiology students selected an organ within the human body and had to teach the class about their organ and how it interacts with at least two other organs. The students also had to choose one disease that directly affects the organ and determine how homeostasis was disrupted.

Organ Trail Project

Each group presented their findings together, which lowered anxiety about presenting to the class. The students utilized our new Cleartouch technology to present their information collected.

Student feedback from the organ trail project provided me with concrete evidence students enjoy the backwards design.

Cross curricular integration

Anatomy students came to teach Pathophysiology students about the importance of movement and discourse. The anatomy students were able to explain which muscles were responsible for basic dance movements. Each group made dance videos with voice over and explained their joints and muscles that were involved in each movement.
