Working like a Donors Choose for your library, SOL allows donors to contribute cash or donate books to add new BTSB books to your library collection.
If donors select the cash option, donations are minimum $10, which is held in an account to be redeemed for BTSB books at the end of the campaign.
If donors elect to donate books, they select books from a wish list that you create. (When a campaign is created, blue “Add to Wish List” buttons will appear in all search results, making it easy and convenient to build the list.)

BTSB can also send you a free Media Kit to help with the promotion. The flyers and posters included will be personalized to your particular campaign.
Donors making book donations may choose to create book plates to honor a student or donor. Various styles are available, and the donor decides on the text, as well. Book plates are placed on the front fly leaf, inside the book.
Book donations are shipped out, with free processing according to your school’s profile, approximately once per month.
To set up a campaign, go to the link above and click the My School Information link. There’s a one-page form to provide all the info that’s necessary. After receiving the form, BTSB will set up a separate and free website which donors log on to in order to make their contributions (sample sites are available on the main SOL page). Our staff will create the website using your school colors and mascot.
You’ll be provided with information on how to manage the campaign. From your BTSB website account, you’ll be able to access a special Admin page that will allow you to edit your wish list, and also to obtain a donor summary of who has donated and how much.
