By default, Follett orders ship directly to the Resource Warehouse for receiving.
Our Receiving Steps at the Warehouse:
Unpack books
Inventory order on the packing slip; send packing slip to Office Manager
Check books for damage; order replacements if necessary
For secondary: add date check out slips
Sticker and stamp (see below)
Send invoice to the Business Office
Import MARC Records
Double check every record for accuracy.
Merge any duplicate records to keep our catalog tidy
Add 568 Subject Tags so books can be found in Destiny Discover's topic catagories
Fix any barcodes that are accidental duplicates
Fix any incorrect Call Numbers
Create a Collection in Destiny Discover to be sent to staff so they can see all the great new additions
Let us know and we can save the stickering/stamping for you.
Check off each book on the packing slip. Check for any missing books, make sure that each book is in good condition, every page is printed and the spine is not upside down before stamping it. Follett will not exchange any books that are stamped.
You will need to send two documents to your Office Manager so they can pay for the order:
The inventoried packing slip.
PDF of the invoice. You will find this item in your "order details" on Titlewave.
