Acrylic Painting - Dreamscape

This unit has introduced you to the Surrealist art movement. Your task in this project is to apply the visual representation of a surrealist ideals in an artwork. It cannot just be a mish-mash of haphazard elements. You must show an understanding of surrealism elements: symbolism, the bizarre, juxtaposition, metaphor ... .

You will start your scape painting by creating a collage with the provided images and translate this into a painting using your chosen style.

When creating your collage, refer to Howard's use of juxtaposition, repetition, size and contrast. You can add your own elements into the work, but it starts with provided source imagery.

when deciding on your painting you can use apps to create colour studies
