Here at Howdy, we take competition very seriously… and by seriously, we mean we turn the entire company into a full-blown intergalactic showdown every year.

Welcome to the Howdy Olympics — our annual Q3 tradition where teams from across all Howdy offices come together for two months of games, challenges, events, and absolute chaos (the fun kind).

Here’s the basic formula:

8 countries // 4 teams // 2 months // 1 trophy = howdy olympics

Every Olympian is assigned to one of our legendary planet teams: Earth, Saturn, Neptune, or Jupiter. From there? The games begin.

Throughout the Olympics, teams compete in a mix of online challenges, in-office competitions, live events, and surprise mini-games designed to bring people together, spark some friendly rivalry, and make work a whole lot more fun. Along the way, you’ll earn points, rep your team colors, collect swag, and hopefully help lead your planet to victory.

And yes… there are prizes. Lots of them.

The Howdy Olympics have become one of the biggest traditions in our community — part competition, part team bonding, part controlled madness.

So whether you’re returning for another season or joining us for the very first time… welcome to the games.

Now the real question is:
Will someone finally take down the reigning champs? 👀

Of course, where there's a competition there needs to be someone to lead it! Each country team has a delegated referee in charge of organizing and refereeing each of our local olympic events! Have any questions about the Olympics? Reach out to your local ref on Slack!
