About the Designer

Meet Denise Cabrera:

Denise is a graphic designer and the artist behind our website, posters, and t-shirts.

"I’ve always been attracted to expressing myself through my drawings and escaping life through art. I started drawing comics at a young age and honed my abilities towards my studies as a Graphic Designer. After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree of Science in Graphic Arts, I have been working as a graphic designer for 5 years. I am now a full-time student with only 2 semesters away from transitioning into a career in digital and 3D animation.

Animated series today have such an influence on our youth, and I want to contribute to that. From Steven Universe showing a different portrayal of a traditional family to Craig of the Creek breaking the stereotype of an African American character,... I want to bring more of my heritage to my artwork and create influential options that I did not have as a child."
