About the Project:
Inspired by The Black Eyed Peas' "Where is the Love?"
"Since this song was written as a response to the 911 terror attack, I decided to make the twin towers getting attacked. This song isn’t only about the terror attack but it’s also about terrorism, racism, gang crime, pollution, war, intolerance, and violence against LGBT people.
I decided to make several people protesting for their rights in the LGBT community and on racism. I put a gun in front of the towers to represent gang crime/ terrorism and war and then the “smoke” from the top of the tower is also representing pollution. I chose this topic because this song always brought my attention and until now I realized the deep meaning it has. It isn’t just a song, their trying to spread love around the world!"

About the Project:
"My topic is about self-love and why it's important. However, my project is on Body positivity, Body positivity means you should love your body and feel confident in it. I created different body types of women because we shouldn't care if we are skinny enough or thick enough, cause we are all beautiful in our own skin."
About the Creator:
"I am passionate, loving, and caring. During the time I've been getting older, I see and realize more things in life. While growing up our body takes a big role, and with social media and everything, I realized how it has so much effect on a person. It makes you feel very insecure at times because they think they need to have a body like Kylie Jenner or some other model. The reason I chose this topic is because I want to make everybody aware that even though you don't have the 'perfect' body that social media 'requires' you to have, you are beautiful."
Inspired by Lizzo and the body positivity movement

Inspired by Lil Baby's Music Video

About the Project:
"'The Bigger Pictue' is a song that deals a lot about current issues and even Lil Baby's own experiences.
My first [creation] is a platinum record that I made representing that "The Bigger Picture" went 2x platinum,... I made this because it shows how big and important this song became when it was released and how it got the recognition it deserved.
For my second [item], I made a mini re-enactment of a Black Lives Matter protest with protesters chanting, sayings that were actually being said during the protests in March. I added the Black Lives Matter monument that was made in Washington. I created this because Lil Baby's music video focuses on the protests and protesters. Lil Baby also went out to show his support."

About the Project:
"I picked three artists for my project; I created a board with their life stories on it and how each of them made an impact or changed the black community. I included QR codes that linked to their music because some of their songs talk about struggles and some things they went through as black men. All these artists just wanted to put their story out there to maybe inspire others in the black community.
Like Mo3 says, 'The black community, we deal with a lot of poverty and struggle,... I'm giving a message, I'm giving hope. Me, I've been a rapper, but you could do whatever you want. You ain't limited to one thing. I preach that.'"
About the Creator:
"Poverty struggles and gun violence strike importance to me and need to be addressed more publicly. The three artists that I picked had to deal with both gun violence and poverty. All of them used their platform to talk about the injustice that black people faced. To me, all of them had meaningful lives that were cut short due to gun violence."

About the Project:
Inspired by John Legend's "Preach"
"The topic I chose was police brutality. In my model, I created a city with people marching in a black lives matter protest. I chose to create this because It shows a realistic visual of how people were protesting during the month of May in 2020. I picked this topic because it's something that truly gets me upset. As a young teenager, I feel like it's hard to speak on topics like this because I'm scared of saying the wrong thing. Creating this project was a way of expressing how I feel about this certain social issue."
By Samantha Z. (Mrs. Barnes)
About the Project:
"My topic is about police brutality and racism towards the black community.
For my project, I had done some research about "Don't Shoot" by The Game ft. Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, etc. I created a painting for whom this song is dedicated to - Michael Brown.
Growing up my mom always taught me not to treat those of color differently because we all have the same similarities, we all have hair, fingers, noses, toes, feet, etc. I picked this topic because having people hate on you for being a different color is so normalized in this world is utterly disgusting."
Inspired by "Don't Shoot," a song by The Game ft. multiple artists
