About the Project:
"I made a video explaining how sports and brands are in support of Black Lives Matter. I show many examples of MLB, NFL, NBA, NBA, WNBA, and different brands.
In 2016 when Kaepernick took a knee because of police brutality, that made brands like Nike change slogans to support him and the change he wants.
In 2020, George Floyd's death also changed sports and brands. There was always police brutality against people of color, but now they want change."

About the Project:
"Breaking Through is a representation of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier. I wanted to create something that shows something shattering as it represents Robinson breaking the color barrier. The white lines are supposed to be shattered glass in case you didn't know. Jackie Robinson is in the middle with his baseball bat as if he broke the glass with it.
I chose this topic because I was really fascinated by how Robinson changed the world by playing baseball. He did much stuff even before and after his baseball career. Baseball can really change a lot of stuff. There might still be people against Black people playing baseball, but Jackie Robinson really paved the way for many people out there."
