CTE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY 1
Grade Level: 10-12
Prerequisite: None
Length: Year
This course meets UC/CSU (F) and District graduation requirements for Fine Art credit. This course provides entry-level training in fine art photography, studio production, lighting principles and theory. The course includes instruction in digital cameras, light meters, studio lighting equipment, computers, flash units, and scanners.
CTE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY 2

Prerequisite: Digital Photography 1

This course meets UC/CSU (F) and District graduation requirements for Fine Art credit. This course is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the fields of computer graphics, electronic publishing and graphic design. Using Adobe Photoshop, students will prepare a variety of projects incorporating digital imaging, photo imaging, photo editing, special effects, color correction and image preparation for publications in print and on the web. Instruction covers the development of artwork incorporating images and text while emphasizing the principles of design and layout. Students should have basic computer knowledge.
