Manage all aspects of your tags
As Tags can be associated to Persons, Contact Organisations, Categories, Items, Discounts and Tender Rules, a handy page has been put together to allow viewing of these tags.
The table shows the total number under each listing where the tag is utilised and each tag can be drilled into further using the VIEW action next to the tag in the table.
Tags can be created from the Tag Dictionaries page via the action menu. To limit the number of items shown in the tag table, the filters can be used from the drop down lists. You can also use the spyglass icon to enter text to search the list of tags for.
As tags can be associated to Persons, Contact Organisations, Categories, Items, Discounts and Tender Rules, when creating or editing any of these Charity Suite Portal attributes, the Create a New Tag button is visible on the attirbutes page, and the user will be taken to another tab/window to create a Tag to be added to the Tag Dictionary.
Tag Name and Details
A Tag name must be between 3 and 100 characters in length and be unique. It must only contain letters, numbers, underscores (_) or colons (:).
If a tag of the same name already exists, the user will receive an error message.
The tag Category is optional and can be selected from the list, or a new one can created here.
The tag can be scoped to specific areas (entities) of the portal, such as CUSTOMER, INVENTORY, etc, this can be selected here. If no scope is selected, the tag is applicable to all areas of the portal.
SetUp Rules
These setup rules relate to the credit account tags.
Reporting
These tags relate to reporting.
On viewing the Tag from the table, the Tag details can be edited or archived.
The action of archiving a Tag will be confirmed before being committed to the database. Any archived Tags will not be visible in the list tables.
