Search for an existing Donor
The user can find an existing donor, administrate the existing donor data held i.e. change an email address or process some new donations from the donor.
To find a donor record the user can key in a first ‘Name’, ‘Surname’ and/or ‘Email Address’, or a combination to drill down into the donor database to find a specific donor, and pressing Search.
Where a match is found the user can select the donor with View button.
Once the correct donor has been located, a summary of the current information held is displayed.
The user can select ‘Edit’ to adjust the current information held on the donor, or can select CAPTURE ITEM DONATION or CAPTURE MONETARY DONATION to process any new donations being made.
Where the user elects to ‘Edit’ a donor record, the existing data is displayed on the standard onboarding form and the user can now review and change any details as required.
Where changes are made to the existing donor record, the donor will need to confirm they remain happy to opt in to Gift Aid and the marketing preferences, and can be simply confirmed on the input form.
Where the user elects to ‘Capture New Donations’, a new screen is displayed allowing the user to key in individual items that have been donated.
The data entered can include an image that can be used for an eCommerce sale, but is optional. A description of the item and the linking of the donated item to a unique QR code.
The QR code is scanned with the tablet camera, this will then be held on the database along with the donated item details, and the QR code sticker ‘stuck’ onto the item.
Where the user has elected to ‘Capture New Donations’, once they have all been logged a summary screen will be displayed listing all the items processed, a summary of the donor details.
Pressing the Finish button will commit the changes to the MicroMkt Charity Suite database.
Where the user elects to ‘Capture Monetary Donations’, a new screen is displayed allowing the user to key in the payment type and the donation amount, before which a summary of the donation is shown.
