The Impact Seminar's purpose is for you to be inspired, understand what impact is and engage yourself to have a positive impact as an entrepreneur.
It lasts 3 days :
With an HEC alumni who did his thesis on impact measure, you will learn what it means to make a positive impact, how you can have one and how you can measure it
The day is meant for students to have an overall picture of the impact-oriented organizations (startups, incubators, VCs, companies, etc). It is also an opportunity to meet the SASI students who take part in this event.
The day is divided in two parts.
- First, the actual Marathon which consists in visiting, in small groups, impact-oriented startups, incubators, VCs, companies, etc.
- Then, all students gather to attend a conference on a specific impact-related topic. Experts are invited to debate and answer to students’ questions.
This day is fully organized by the students.
It's now time for you to engage yourself. To do that, you will collectively write a manifesto that state what will be your impact as a group.
25, 28 and 29th October 2019
Many locations for the marathon (Mostly Paris)
Day 2 and 3 will be on campus (Jouy or Champerret)
Three people are responsible for this seminar. Their main goal is to build the Impact Marathon hand in hand with three other students from the SASI Master.
For the Impact Marathon, the team needs to:
- Contacts startups, incubators, VC, corporates etc. dealing with sustainable topics.
- Divide students from both masters (X-HEC Entrepreneurs and SASI) into groups and define the itinerary for each of them.
- Choose the topic of the closing conference and invite experts to intervene and debate.
They team will also help the administration deal with tasks related to the other two days.
