Haumea takes about 285 years on Earth to orbit around the Sun. It completes a rotation in 4 hours that makes it one of the fastest object rotating in the solar system. Haumea has two known moons that are called Namaka and Hi'iaka. They are named after the mythological daughters and were found in 2005. Haumea is the first planet found in the Kuiper belt that has rings. It was discovered in 2004 by a team of astronomers lead from Mark Brown and was known as a dwarf planet in 2008. The structure made out of rock and a thick coat of ice. Haumea as a radius of 385 miles and its about 1/14 of Earths. Haumea is 43 astronomical units away from the sun and that is about 4,010,000,000 miles also it takes 6 hours for sunlight to travel to Haumea.
