Hi this is Bevaan R. and I will share a few pieces of information about Ceres, the biggest object in the asteroid belt. Ceres was the first asteroid discovered. Ceres was discovered on January 1st 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi. It has a radius of 293.91 miles and has an orbital period of 1,682 days. It has a gravity of 0.27 m/s ², and a surface gravity of 0.029 g. Ceres has a density of 2.08 g. Ceres itself is older than the Earth (by 0.03 billion years)! Ceres probably has a solid core and a mantle made of water ice. In fact, Ceres could be composed of as much as 25 percent water (a lot)! If it is correct, Ceres has more water than Earth does. Ceres' crust is rocky and dusty with large salt deposits. Ceres represents motherhood and family relationships, food, agriculture, transitions in a female's life, and nurturing qualities we received as children and often replicate as adults. With Ceres, there is a love of what is simple, natural, and good for you.
