Q: What does the departmental coverage look like today? Where should I allocate the breaks?
Q: Who is opening, mid-shift, and closing for each department of the store? Are there any special focuses for the day?
Q: How can I track where I am zoning my associates?
This report should be printed for each day of the week and can be used as a quick way to evaluate coverage by department, specify zoning, break schedules and coverage, and special focuses for the day. It is similar to the Floor Coverage report, however adds columns for managing floor zoning and meals/breaks.
To run this WFM Report, click on the My Reports Tab > and select HB - Floor Coverage Report *NEW*
From there, select the day you wish to evaluate your floor coverage.
Type in the store number (eg: 1111), and select Excel format.
Press the blue Go button. (Sample Report Below)
Store leadership can use this report as a daily tool to manage floor meals/breaks, where to zone associates (and how long), and any special focuses for the day. This tool ensures business critical areas are always protected and the store is staffed according to plan!
Open Shifts: Refers to coverage present when the store opens in the morning.
Mid Shifts: Refers to coverage present when for a shift window at approximately noon.
Close Shifts: Refers to coverage present when the store closes in the evening.
*Note: Shifts may repeat in each column if they meet the criteria of all three shift windows
