SUMMER SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

The Hawaii Online Courses Summer Session is a fast-paced, accelerated program. Excessive absences may result in disciplinary actions, including a reduction in course grades, loss of course credit, and/or removal from the summer program without a refund.

If you are planning a summer vacation or trip, this program may not be the right fit for you. However, if you choose to enroll, please note that daily login and completion of assignments are mandatory.

Extensions or make-up assignments will not be granted for reasons such as trips, vacations, community service, jobs, sporting events (e.g., tournaments), or similar activities.

Online synchronous meetings may be scheduled, depending on the class. The dates and times will be provided after the class begins.

Students must have access to a computer, internet, and headphones.

Students new to HOC are required to pass a mandatory online student orientation with a score of 40 or higher. Failure to complete this requirement by the deadline will result in the student being dropped from the course. Login details will be provided once registration is complete.
