Qualifications for becoming a Hawaii Online Courses (HOC) instructor are as listed:

1. State of Hawaii resident

2. State of Hawaii teacher license

3. HQT in course content area and grade level

4. D.O.E. classroom experience in teaching the course (desired but not required)

5. Effective 3/25/2021  Successful completion of the Online Teaching Level 1 (PDE3 #CT186400) or Connect! (PDE3 #CT178661) course AND the Online Teaching Level 2 (PDE3 #PD186458) course.  Visit the Project Inspire website for course and registration information.
