Barchart.com is quite possibly my favorite website for everything related to stocks. I still believe Marketwatch is better for fundamentals, but for intraday traders Bar Chart offers great tools to help you spot runners or to give you ideas on what others are doing the market.

• Implied Volatility (IV Rank and IV Percentile which are useful for option strategies)

    • IV Rank and IV Percentile

    • Most Active Options

    • Options Volume Leaders

    • Change in Open Interest

• Gap Ups and Gap Downs

  • • Great way to practice gap plays (see Gaps)

    • Gap Downs are typically stronger than Gap Ups

• Sector Map

  • • See which sectors are doing well or poorly (1D, Week, Month, etc)

    • See individual stocks within the sector to see which are the fast movers or laggards

    • Sort by volume to find the runners
