I will make my own original maze with animals in the dead end that chase you.
Day 1
I looked at past students projects and figured out what I was gonna make. I did my list of ten good ideas and planning question. Then I worked on my VR world a little bit
Day 2
I worked on my VR world and got a lot done.
Day 3
I worked on my VR world and got my 3D print started.
Day 4
I finished the maze and started working on putting things in the dead ends.
Day 5
I worked on my second scene that you teleport to when you complete the maze and I added animals and soldiers that run after you in the dead ends and when they collide with you, you restart to the beginning of the maze. I also worked on the code for all of that.
Day 6
I worked on my code for the maze animals.
Day 7
I tried my world out in the VR headset and added more animals in the world
Day 8
I worked on my sentence starters and my iMovie edits.
Using Cospaces, a computer, an iPad, a VR headset, and an iPod I created a VR maze. I created it because it would be fun to try the maze out. I would also be fun to make and have fun with.
During this process, I learned how to code a VR world in cospaces. I made it so that when you collide with animals you would restart to the beginning of the maze. I also made it so animals ran after you and that feature made the maze more difficult. I also created an item at the end that you click on and it teleports you to a new scene that says that you have completed the maze.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used a process to make and plan what I was going to make and how to make it. I also looked at past student work to learn how to code and come up with ideas.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to code because I have never coded before. I was able to do it by trial and error. I also looked at other classmates and how they were able to code.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the Santa in the dead end. The reason why I would change it is because it just disappears, but I wanted it to slowly disappear. To fix it think I would have to put pauses in between the opacity change.

My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this program because I made code in my VR world. My project connects to careers in Software Engineering and Programming Engineering.
