daily log
day 1: working by myself and found out about what the project is and what were doing
day 2: i started to mess around and basically nothing got done
day 3: i began figuring out how to use the robots and messed around with them
day 4: I did little bit of code and messed around more
day 5: absent
day 6: i messed around and did my daily log
day 7: i tried to do the catapult but it didn't work
day 8: i recorded the drawing robots with reyd
day 9: i did the dash and the mini videos
day 10: i finished up most of my website
Using an iPad, robots, and the resources I was given, I created 3 videos of robots because that was the project.
During this process, I learned how to use the controls of the dash robot.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructer because I used my resources and practice to learn how to control and program the robots.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not understanding the roots coding. I was able to do it by finding out what each control did and put them together to have it make a shape.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my catapult. The reason why I would change it is because it didn't really work.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in jobs like people that try out technology using coding features given.
