8P2-3d print project

Daily Log:

day 1: I started early I made my list of 10 and did my planning questions then started on the 3D print

day 2: I added shoes legs and a torso

day 3: I added shoulders, a neck, and a head

day 4: I added arms, shirt text, and a platform for the model to stand on. and with all that I finished the print

day 5: I'm already done

day 6: I'm already done

• Using Tinkercad, I created a miniature Cartour because I wanted to see if I could successfully make a standing model.

• During this process, I learned how to make sure that parts are connected in a 3d print on Tinkercad.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I had to make sure not to use any shapes or creations on Tinkercad that were made by others.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was connecting the shapes on my prints. I was able to do it by looking closely at the points of connection on my print and moving them closer to connect.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made. The reason why I would change it is because Mr. Renner didn't like it.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in designing models online for others to use and making printed prototypes.
