Daily Log:

Day 1:i started thinking of ideas and did my list of ten good ideas.

Day 2: I started working with Reyd just helping him with some stuff and was messing with stuff with my microbit

Day 3: I did my planning questions and started

day 4: I tried doing a percentage randomizer 

day 5: i tried doing a yes or no shake thing

day 6: I decided to do a teacher of beginner guitar chords

day 7: I just helped Reyd most of the day 

• Using a micro bit and a computer, I created a beginner guitar chord teacher because new guitar players could find it useful.

• During this process, I learned a lot about how to make inputs show different things.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge constructor because I started with basic knowledge of block coding, I tested and tried things to make my micro bit work and made something that I and others could learn from.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what I was going to make. I was able to do it by thinking of stuff I was familiar with.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I only used one micro bit. The reason why I would change it is because there are more than 5 strings on a guitar so if I used a second micro bit I could have gotten all of the strings.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in programming chips for vehicles.
