Day 1: I did my list of ten and planning questions
Day 2: I looked at some other scratch games for inspiration
Day 3: I began creating a plan for the game
Day 4: I created the background of which the game would have
Day 5: I started coding the upgrade panel in
Day 6: I coded in some upgrades
Day 7: I coded in the rest of the upgrades and began working on the fields
Day 8: I completed all coding and visuals
Final Product
Using scratch, I created a game because I wanted to test my game-creating skills.
During this process, I learned a lot about scratch coding.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital because I had to find a background that wasn't copyrighted.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the cost correct. I was able to do it by looking at past prices and going based on them.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my understanding of the coding. The reason why I would change it is because it took me a long time to understand how it worked.

My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in game creators.
