8P3-Podcast Project

Daily Log:

day 1: We practiced some to got used to talking

day 2: We tried making an actual video for posting (didn't happen)

day 3: We tried making an actual video for posting (didn't happen)

day 4: We continued to struggle to make the videos

day 5: Was a great day best day by far we got lots done

day 6: Another good day got lots more done

day 7: We are starting to need less footage as we are getting lower on news to report on

Day 8: Pretty much finished

• Using the recording equipment and room, I created a news podcast because I wanted to work in a team on a project where we all put work in.

• During this process, I learned to be a little more serious while recording.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because we thought over what we'd say and corrected ourselves until we got what we were hoping for.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not being serious while recording. I was able to do it by practicing over and over.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my motivation to be serious. The reason why I would change it is because we wasted lots of time making mistakes.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in news anchors.
