I made the saxophone and the boy move together as the saxophone plays. The saxophone plays a couple notes every second. I also added a mute button just in case the playing is to horrible.
Using Scratch, I created a animation that showed one of my passions. I did this because it was my school assignment. The topic of the project was my hobbies, playing the alto saxophone.
During this process, I learned how to make a sprite clickable in scratch. I needed to know this because I wanted a button to be able to mute the sounds. I wanted to make a mute button because the saxophone was going to make sounds every second.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator. My project ties to this because I was showing my passion thru scratch.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the size of the cat playing the saxophone. I was able to do it by going into the editor in scratch and stretching the sprite out. I wanted the cat and the Alto to be the same height.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the topic of the passion. The reason why I would change it is because i think I could have gotten more content in the project. I think the passion could have been like a sport of something.
