What materials will you need for your project? I will need a computer, tinker cad and the 3d printer
What is your plan to create in this project? Use tinker cad to create the piece that I am going to make and then use the 3d printer to print the project

Using the 3d printer, computer and tinker cad, I created a holder for 3 computers thin and thick because I have all these computers laying around and they are just sitting there doing nothing taking up space. If I build this I can put them upright and it will take up not as much space. I also can put in a very tight spot that is not being used then to free up space where the computers were before
During this process, I learned how to make the dimensions just right to compensate for a little bit of leeway. I did this so then when I put the computer in it wiggles just a bit and it is able to get out of the socket easy. It is also hard to get the dimensions just right so then it doesn't break anything when you put it in the holder designed for the dimensions of that computer
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because you are innovating your design to fit your specific need for that project. When you innovate you make that project better, change it a little and I innovated by changing the dimensions just by a little to fit the thickness and everything else you need to fix it or make it better.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the dimensions just right I was able to do it by looking up the computer thickness and the length and height. Then I was able to make the design a littel bit bigger then to fit the computer in the slot that I madem for it. It was really hard getting the thickness right because I could not get the size I wanted for it just to have it so I could easily get it out with out breaking my project or even worse break the computer.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the overall design like completely start over. The reason why I would change it is because I do not like the design it looks like I put 2 seconds into it. I would put a lot more detail into it and also be able to put a lot more computers into it and other things like a pen holder and phone holder too. It would definitely make it better and I would be happier with it.

My project connects to careers in 3D Printing and design because you are using the 3D printer to do work and you could ultimately use it to do lots of things working like for what I am doing for my project creating a computer4 holder for multiple computers.
