8P4- ADA Fruit

Using the AdaFruit and the computer, I created a song that whenever I push button A it plays a song and when I move the switch to the left it plays another song because I just wanted to create music and learn how to code like that and use different material.

During this process, I learned how to code and how to create music using the ADA Fruit. Also make the ADA fruit work. I also learned how to code with different codes than I have used in the past. Also I learned to use the ADA Fruit in its full potential.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I can use the website and information online to find out what I can do on the ADA Fruit. I applied it to my project by looking up different codes I create with the ADA Fruit. I also used a variety of sources to do my research

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what I want to do with the ADA Fruit. I was able to do it by asking friends there ideas and trying to make it so I am not copying them and or taking their design. Another challenge I overcame was the getting the ADA Fruit to do what I want it to do. That was the biggest stuggle I had. I could not make it play the right note that I wanted. I could not find it. But once I found it the rest of my project went great. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the actual project. The reason why I would change it is because I don't really like the overall music that I made so I need to change it if I did the project again. The other thing I would change is the color. The reason I chose those colors is I wanted to make Iron Man colors. I really did not work the way I intended it to be. I wanted it to be flashing and that did not work then I just scrapped that idea and just made music with the colors moving around in a circle.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Coding things because you are programming the Ada Fruit to play songs, do a little dance with light and all sorts of other things with the ADA Fruit. With the ADA Fruit it can help you get jobs in coding and all sorts of other stuff that you may need a backround in coding.
