Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a computer and a merge cube website such as Cospaces.com
What is your plan to create in this project?
I will look up how to use the merge cube app. I will come up with different scenes for my cube sides.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will be about adventures of places I have been with my family while they were in the Military.
Using a computer and a merge cube and the website for the merge cube, I created the places I have been because I have been to a lot of places with my parents when they were in the military.
During this process, I learned how to create and use the Merge cube. I learned how to code and use augmented reality to create the places I have been.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designers because it shows that I am innovative by showing people the places I have been. This technology has the ability to let people view the world without leaving their homes.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to move the cube so I can see the bottom. I was able to do it by asking the people around me for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my scenes in order to give a more detailed look into my subjects. The reason why I would change it is so the user has a better understanding of the places I am showing them.

Day 1: I finished the 10 Good Ideas, and Planning Questions, and started the creation of my project. At the end of the class, I finished the first side of the cube which was Big Ben.
Day 2: I finished the first 4 sides of the cube, which took an entire hour at least. The sides are the Eiffel Tower, London Bridge, the Mountains of Idaho, Stonehenge, and NASA in Florida.
Day 3: I Figured out how to change the cube to be able to see the bottom, in order to finish the project. That was hard because I couldn't find the buttons my friends were telling me to press in order to lift the cube.
Day 4: I finished the 6th side of the cube. I started to finalize the project. Had a hard time with some of it because I wanted to put a description of the places on my cube so that others would know what they were. Got that fixed and it's better now.
Day 5: Made the rest of my site. Now I am working on my video. It took a couple of tries to get the final project and once I got it it was smooth sailm\ing from there.
Day 6: Today I finished my video and uploaded it to my site. I had to remember that if it is a shortcut then nobody is going to be able to view it.
Day 7: Adding pictures, finalizing my project, and getting ready to present. The pictures were a little hard to get from my I pad to the computer and the I pad would as not let it go to my google drive so I could not put them on my site.
Day 8: Adding finishing touches to my projects such as captions to my pictures and my video. Still fixing my text and finalizing it.
Day 9: Finished my project and I am ready to present.
