Day 1-
I figured out what website to use, and accidently made the entire thing in tiles
Day 2-
I found out I could just do the text thing, so I did. And wasted the entirety of day 1
Day 3-
Today I finished the paragraphs, and I made a code for the MicroBit but I didn't end up using it.
My Movie 2.MOVIMG_0091.MOVUsing an iPad, Microbit, and the internet, I a video showing my amazing MicroBit saying "On Wednesdays we Wear Pink," from the movie Mean Girls (trademarked by Paramount Pictures Corporation) because I have an undying love for the movie Mean Girls and because it got taken off Netflix on September 30th.
During the process of making the video. I learned how to use the MicroBit website and the MicroBit. I also learned how to remove audio from iMovie movies to make it seen more professional and not have the sounds from my weird classmates i the background of my beautiful website.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I only really used the internet for my project and its how I found out how to use the MicroBit and iMovie.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making every single (sliding) letter in the sentence "On Wednesdays we wear pink" instead of doing the text code built into the Microbit website. So that took me an entire days work so I lost one day to do this project. After I found out I could just type it in and it'd do it for me, and was faster, It went by way faster for me and I was able to do more MicroBit codes.
Given a chance to do this project again, I would make a code to a game because that seems fun. I wanted to make flappy bird but that would take a while and I only did this project for three days because I had to finish my Cardboard Project and then I was gone for a bunch of days.
Hastings High School Carrier and Technical Education Program Offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to Computer programming because I literally programmed a computer(the MicroBit) with 3 different codes, one saying "I love Regina George", another saying "On Wednesdays we wear pink" and the last one just saying my name.
