Daily Log

Day 1 started our designs

Day 2 finished two shirts

Day 3 everyone finished

Day 4 learned to use the cricut and failed first time

Day 5 Cut mine and Keagan's design

Day 6 heat pressed my shirt.

Reflection

• Using cricut and heat press, I created a shirt with a custum design because I wanted to make a shirt with my dads comapany log on it. Another reason is im working with him this summer and I want a shirt to show im a worker. That is why I created a shirt with a custom design.

• During this process, I learned that this process can take longer than you would think. Since I kept forgetting my shirt I kept putting off the day to print everything and heat press if only I new that this takes at least 2 to 3 days to do. That is what I learned during this process.

•  The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator and global collaborator, My project ties to Creative communicator because I'm using videos and pictures to explain my project. My project ties to global collaborator because I'm putting my project online for everyone to see.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to use the cricut . I was able to do it by watching videos and kind of trial and error. since I did make a mistake by not measuring the vinal in the right spot on the sheet causing it to only print half of it. That is a challenge I overcame.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change not forgetting my materials all the time cause it cost time and made me late.. The reason why I would change it is because I could have gotten this done sooner. That is what I would change if I could do this again

•  Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in making Clothing designs.
