Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I'm working by myself
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a bolt, Dash, Irobot, and Sphero mini
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a party bomb with bolt, a catapult with dash. square and rectangle with the sphero mini, and the letter THE with the I robot.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My three letter word will be the word THE. Also instead of my party bomb saying 3,2,1 Go on screen my will actually say it by voice.
Day 1 I used dash to do the wrong project I made him do shapes instead of him doing the Lego thing
Day 2 I used Bolt and created a party bomb I also started making my Lego catapult.
Day 3 I finished my catapult and launched the wheel.
Day 4 I used the sphere mini to make a square and a rectangle.
Day 5 We talked about CTE
Day 5 I made the Irobot make the word the, the hardest part was coding the j for sure.
Day 6 I have started my reflection
Day 7 I got half of my reflection done I am on the 7 standards.
Day 8 I have finished my reflection and have started my final video
Day 9 I got half of my video done all I need to do is my voice
Day 10 I finished my video and checked all my pictures and other videos in guest to see if they popped up I have to fix 2
Day 11 I have finished my project
Day 12 I filled out a sheet saying that I completed these 4 projects and took a picture of there code and took a video of the robots. I have also changed the layout of my videos and pictures.

Using Dash, I created Lego Catapult because I wanted to see how far I could make a Lego tire go. Using Bolt, I created a party bomb because I wanted to see Dash change color and jump around. Using sphero mini, I created a square and a rectangle because I wanted to make two simple shapes that meet the criteria. Using Irobot, I created the word THE because I knew it would be a fun challenge and it was the first 3 letter word I thought of.
During this process, I learned that the code software for these robots are completely different and easier to use than others. the one that was the hardest to use was defiantly bolts code software as it was pretty hard for me to understand how the x and y lines work and how they move the robot. The easiest was the sphero mini as it was just up, down, right, and left. The Irobot and Dash were still easy to learn but not as easy as the Sphero mini.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator and innovative designer because My project ties to Creative communicator because I used pictures and videos to tell what project is. Mine also ties to Global Collaborator because I'm sharing videos and pictures on my website were people around the world can see them.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to code on different sights for different robots. I was able to do it by using a trial and error . I would think of what I wanted it to do code it as best as possible and then change some things that didn't work. For example the bolt was a challenge to now how to learn and use it but then I go to the Irobot and have relearn a new sight. A challenge I overcame on this project was my catapult letting the tire roll instead of falling straight down. I was able to do it by reassembling my catapult intel it would start to roll.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change, reading the instructions again because I used the wrong robot. The reason why I would change it is because it wasted time getting the right robot and making a new code. I also could have made a different robot code instead of having to make the other one correctly. Another challenge was making the tire on the dash challenge roll and not fall flat.
