I will need a merge cube.
What is your plan to create in this project?
A turtle trying to be helped but it dies.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My landscape will be bigger and it will be coded.
day 1 I started my story about a turtle and got the first scene done I added a landscape with water and roads
day 2 I started the animation for my first scene and started my second scene I made the turtle fall out of the drop
day 3 I finished my second scene and my third scene I made the guy point at the turtle
Day 4 I finished all of my scenes I programmed it so the turtle would run and the guy grabbed him and dropped him in water.
day 5 my scenes were to big so shrunk them
The turtle fell
He found the turtle
He stared at the turtle
The turtle tried to run
He picked up the turtle
He dropped the turtle into the water but it was a tortoise so it died
Using Co space and a merge cube, I created a story about a tortuous being killed because a guy thought it was a turtle because I wanted to make a story that seemed normal and happy to be sad. It also was abrupt making it seem more funny. Lastly I made it because I got to code which made it so things would move.
During this process, I learned how to code two things to move in the same scene. I also learned how to make a merge cube play different scenes. The way I made the merge cube play different scene is I duplicated the scene and then I flipped over the cube so when I later put the camera on it it would pop up when I flipped it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital citizen and creative communicator because. My project ties to Digital citizen I was putting water in my world that I had to find via a gif I made sure that my gif was not copy right that is why mine ties to digital citizen. Mine ties creative communicator because I used videos and pictures on my website to explain what my project is.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding out how to make the cube change scenes. I was able to do it by duplicating the scene and flipping over the cube. Another thing was my world was to big so I did have to remove a lot and shrink the world so you could actually see the story.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change not adding so much to my world. The reason why I would change it is because it really slowed me down and made me lose a day of work time shrinking my world down. Another thing was not watching a tutorial our something on how to make it so when I flipped the merge cube it show a new scene our even how to make a new scene.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Augmented Reality Developer. I chose this career because I deals with programming stuff for AR our Augmented reality which is what we have been learning in this project.
