day 1 I started my design cant decide how to get it cut

day 2 I'm going to try making the letters pop instead of having them cut

Day 3 I finished that and made my sight.

Day 4 We put it in the cnc and getting the letters cut is more practical and easier

Reflection

• Using cnc, I created wooden plaque for my dads company because I wanted to make something for him. I also made it so he can hang it in his trailer. That is why I made a wooden plaque for my dad.

• During this process, I learned how to better visually see measurements on easel. This took me a while to understand how to do and will help me in the future since I dont basically have to hope that the measurement I chose will work for me. That is something I learned while doing this project.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator and Global collaborator because my project ties to global collaborator because my website is online for everybody to see. My project ties to creative communicator because I'm using pictures and videos to explain my work. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was deciding whether to make the texts stick out or get cut out. I was able to do it by making both and deciding which one looked better and was most practical. I decided to make the text get cut out of the board.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change time management on how long it took me to decide which one was better. The reason why I would change it is because my project is late because of it. That is something I would change about my project.

•  Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in CNC Machinist .
