Day 1 I started easel and my idea for my project
Day 2 I'm making my team name, number, and my name.
Day 3 I've finished with the baseball and I'm starting my name
Day 4 I've finished my name and baseball team
Day 5 I'm centering all of my stuff so it looks good on the board
Day 6 I put my board in the CNC
Day 7 I started my reflection and I'm also staining the board.
Day 8 I finished my board.

In CNC machine
Stained and sanded
Using the CNC and wood, I created a sign with my baseball team, my name, and my number. because I play baseball for Hastings Hardball. I also did it because I wanted to use the CNC machine which is one of the hardest things to use.
During this process, I learned how to center stuff on a computer program with easel. It was annoying because every little change I made would make the whole thing off center which means I had to change it. Then I learned you can se the x and y axis for the letters and the height and the width by typing it so it got way easier than guessing if it was center.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator and Global collaborator. because my project ties to Global collaborator because I put my project online for everybody to see. my project ties to Creative communicator because I used videos and pictures to explain parts of my project
A challenge I overcame on this project was putting the wood on the CNC. I was able to do it by using special stair steps to hook it on the CNC. The reason it was really hard is because my woods dimensions 11 by 10 were just the perfect length and width to not fit in the special clamps that screw in.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change making sure there is no moisture in the board. The reason is there were little bits of wood stuck on the letters I had to clean off. Another thing id do is staining the board before using the CNC so maybe it would look cooler.
