Using a computer a Micro:bit, and some tutorials, I created a game, because it shows games and projects I coded. 

During this process, I learned how to code using Micro: bits block coding.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to my Micro:bits, because I'm an empowered learner, because I knew what I wanted to make, and I'm a digital citizen, because I did not directly copy anybody, I'm a knowledge constructor because I used tutorials and help menus on Micro:bit to make my games/projects. I'm a innovative designer, because I made original projects, made by myself. Some are different then tutorials, and the calculator an coin flip are from scratch  I'm a computational thinking, because I used technology to program and find information on the Micro:bits. I uploaded all my work and coding onto a public website, meaning I'm a global collaborator. 

A challenge I overcame was having bugs and issues in the code. I was able to overcome this because I had continued to get some help online, and now understand it. Given a chance to do this again.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in computer systems engineer, and software developer, because it involves coding, and programing.
