Using cardboard, I created a skyscraper because me and my partner wanted to make a tower or somthing tall using cardboard

During this process, I learned how to measure and cut cardboard, and glue it in properly to make sure it would work and stick. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because me and partner had to design the tower and build it and I'm a knowledge constructor because I learned how to fix and add things. I'm a innovative designer, because I made original projects, made by myself. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was wrong proportions or wrong cutting. I was able to overcome it by learning the correct way to cut it, and making sure all of my measurements were correct

Given a chance to do this again, I would try to add more detials. The reason I would change this is because I felt the skyscraper wasn't quite detailed enough, and could of have more

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects because we had to design my project and build it over time. My project connects to careers in engineering and recycling because I engineered the skyscraper, and  I recyled the cardboard.
