Are you working by yourself or in a team?
-Myself
What materials will you need for your project?
-iPad, Computer, Sphero BOLT
What is your plan to create in this project?
-To make a maze it can go through
What unique qualities will your project have?
Collision and rediretion
Looked at what to do and decided on Sphero Bolt
Looked at ideas for it, and decided on some
Narrowed it down, and looked at the coding, and figured out what I could and couldn't do
Decided to do some testing with it to see what I could and couldn't do
Figured out what I could and couldn't do, and started the offical coding
Finished it, and troubleshooted the issues
Using a computer a Sphero, and some tutorials, I created a maze it could travel through because it shows how the sphero can be coded. During this process, I learned how to code using Sphero block coding, and also learned how to use the iPad to control it
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to these, because I'm an empowered learner, because I knew what I wanted to make, and I'm a digital citizen, because I did not directly copy anybody, I'm a knowledge constructor because I used tutorials and help menus on Sphero to make my code. I'm a innovative designer, because I was original and designed it by myself, made by myself. Some are different then tutorials, I'm a computational thinker, because I used technology to program and find information on the Sphero. I uploaded all my work and coding onto a public website, meaning I'm a global collaborator.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to code it at first. I was able to overcome this because I had continued to get some help online, and now understand it. Given a chance to do this again, I would make a more complex project, knowing how use the coding better. The reason why I would change it is because it would allow me to make a better use of the sphere shape that can roll.
