What is your plan to create in this project?
-To make a utility using Scratch
What unique qualities will your project have?
Variables, and math
Started to think of ideas for what to make, decided on a calculator
Designed all the buttons, and the frame
Started working with how to make the operations work
Found a way, and began putting in all the numbers, and re-designed the buttons, didn't like previous look
Put in the operations, and did some troubleshooting on some issues
Finished the little details and the variables, and published it

Using Scratch on a Computer, I created a Calculator because it can be helpful for quick math
During this process, I learned how to program using Scratch, and how variables work
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties these because because I'm an empowered learner, because I knew what I wanted to do, and I'm a digital citizen, because I did not directly copy anyone. I'm a knowledge constructor because I made sure it I knew what to do, and how to make it work. I'm a innovative designer, because I made something original and I'm a computational thinker, because I used tech to find ideas, and how to make stuff. I published, and the work is public, which also is why I'm a global collaborator.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having issues or not knowing how to make something work. I overcame it by looking at some tutorials, and continuing to keep trying new solutions
Given a chance to do this again, I would do something more complex, or make it do more operations, because I then it could be more helpful
