The monument was homemade with concrete.  Unfortunately, other than the family name, Hittle, the rest of the inscriptions have worn away.  Due to the condition, we will not be cleaning the monument further, so as not to encourage any more wear and tear.  It is believed that John Hittle (lot owner) and possibly his wife, Helena, are buried here.
