Biography:  Arthur was born on June 2, 1882 and was the youngest son of William C. Meyer and his wife.  He died at 9 years, 7 months and 6 days old from diphtheria.  Arthur, known as Arte, was a bright and active boy who died suddenly on January 8, 1892.  He was one of four children of the family who passed away at an early age within a few years.
