Biography:  Sophia Langbein was born on January 22, 1850 in Mecklenburg, Schwerin, Germany.  She lived in the town of Hamburg since childhood.  She was a housekeeper and married John Horn in 1867.  John passed away 20 years before Sofia in 1914.  Sophia passed away on April 10, 1934 following a stroke at 84 years old.  Her daughter, Dora Bebow, is also buried at St. James.
