We kicked off this week with a Dinosaur theme! Check out some of our favourite centers from the week!

This week, students explored with their own 'Dino's in Lava' sensory bins. They loved experimenting with the baking soda and vinegar!

This week, we enjoyed the stories There Was an Old Scientist Who Swallowed a Dinosaur and Mamasaurus. We focused on core words such as I, who, and why while reading There Was an Old Scientist, and practiced using he and she with Mamasaurus. 

Students loved dipping toy dinosaurs in paint to make colorful footprints, and then washing them up afterward, turning the activity into a fun, hands-on way to explore creativity and sensory play! 

Here is the dinosaur song we sang all week! Students loved pretending to be a different dinosaur each day as they joined in.

This week, we transformed our kitchen area into a Pizza Shop! Students had a blast taking orders, role-playing as chefs and customers, and creating different kinds of pizzas while building language, social, and pretend-play skills.
