Answer the following (in detail):
Why were Rangi and Papa were separated and what does that mean for us now? How did it change our world?
Why did each atua want seperation/death or non seperation?
Make sure you mention the following:
Ranginui, Papatūānuku, Tangaroa, Tane Mahuta, Tawhirimatea, Tūmatauenga, Hamia tiketike, Rongomatane, Ruaumoko. What did each of these atua think? What did they do?
What happened after separation to each member in the family?
Retell the story of Ranginui and Papatūānuku, from start to finish.
What differences are there in the Ngāi Tahu version?
Have a go at drawing or tracing a picture of Rangi/Papa or any of the other atua involved.
