Greenville County Schools is on target and moving full speed ahead with FusionForward — the district’s journey to modernize and streamline how we work.
For many years, our current system has reliably supported daily operations in Finance, Payroll and HR. As technology and expectations evolve, there is an opportunity for a solution that will increase efficiency and connectivity for the future.
That’s why GCS is transitioning to Oracle Cloud — a fully integrated, cloud-based platform that brings financial, human resources and procurement processes together in one place. This upgrade will simplify work, strengthen data accuracy and give every team better tools to serve schools and staff.
To help guide this transformation, GCS partnered with Sierra-Cedar, a nationally recognized Oracle implementation firm with deep experience in K-12 and public sector projects. Together, we’re laying the foundation for a more efficient, transparent and future-ready system.
The journey includes key milestones like CRP1 and CRP2 — where users experience a “test flight” of the new processes — followed by System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and finally Go-Live in November 2026.
FusionForward isn’t just the name of the project; it’s a promise that Greenville County Schools is on target with Oracle — ready to move forward, stay focused and deliver a smarter, more connected future for the district and its employees.
