Verifications for mortgage lenders, banks, housing providers, government assistance, or others who may need proof of employment or income are completed by the payroll department. Email the request to verifications@greenville.k12.sc.us (preferred) or fax to (864)355.1192. Please note the district’s holiday and summer work schedule may impact processing your request. The employee must provide a signed acknowledgement for release of information before the request will be processed.

When submitting your experience verification form please provide the following information:
Attach the form to the email, or include the form with your fax
Include your first and last name in the email subject
Approximate dates of employment with GCS
Your former name, if applicable
Your GCS employee identification number, if known
The last 4 digits of your social security number
An email address or mailing address to send the requested information
A contact phone number where you can be reached if there are questions
If you are requesting verification of substitute teaching experience with Greenville County Schools you will need to complete the Experience Verification Form.
