1. Planning & Design
This is where it all begins! During the planning phase, we define goals, gather requirements, and design the overall solution. Teams document current processes and identify how they’ll work in Oracle Cloud.
2. CRP1 – Conference Room Pilot 1
CRP1 is our first major “hands-on” look at the system. We test the initial setup, validate key processes, and identify any gaps between our current workflows and Oracle’s delivered functionality. Think of this as our first test drive of the new system.
3. CRP2 – Conference Room Pilot 2
CRP2 takes everything learned from CRP1 and refines it. The system is configured more closely to our real business processes, and end users get a chance to experience what day-to-day work will feel like in Oracle Cloud. This phase helps ensure the system is ready for broader testing.
4. SIT – System Integration Testing
In this phase, we make sure all the pieces work together — from HR and Finance to third-party systems like budgeting, timekeeping, and reporting tools. SIT ensures the integrations and data flows are working smoothly across the board.
5. UAT – User Acceptance Testing
Now it’s time for the real users to step in! Staff from across departments test the system using real-world scenarios. The goal is to confirm that the system supports all daily operations and is ready for launch.
6. Go-Live
The big moment — when Oracle Cloud officially replaces our legacy system. After years of preparation, testing, and training, we move into production and begin using the new system for real business transactions.
7. Post-Go-Live Support & Optimization
Even after Go-Live, the work continues. We monitor performance, resolve any issues, and fine-tune processes to make sure the system is running at its best.
