Contest Description:
Contestants will showcase their expertise in the HVACR industry by performing a range of tasks that demonstrate their technical skills. These include operating and troubleshooting HVACR systems, conducting routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance, repairing equipment to restore functionality, and completing installation and commissioning processes to bring new systems online effectively.
Project Scope:
The goal of the contest is to inspire students to deepen their understanding of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. A key aspect of the competition is proper refrigerant handling, which requires contestants to stay informed about current regulations and best practices to ensure safety and compliance.
