A combination of this course and a pure science course provides a very strong foundation for a career or further study in Engineering, Science, or Technology. This course is suitable for learners who can respond to a broad and challenging exploration of engineering.

• A pass in National 5 Maths (or studying towards National 5 Maths)

You will learn about:

• Materials

One exam paper, which is worth about 70% of the total marks for the course. One assignment, which is worth about 30% of the total marks for the course. This takes about 8 hours and is assessed in school by your teacher. You will be given the opportunity to demonstrate engineering problem solving skills.

Employment/Training/Qualifications in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths.

All types of Engineering, Electrician, Vehicle Maintenance, Electricity Generation, Installation/Maintenance.
